Introduction:
Hey guys, welcome to jobsdub.com
5 MOST IN DEMAND JOBS IN DUBAI. In today’s blog I’m going to talk about what all jobs are in most demand in Dubai. First, we’ll talk about that, and then we’ll discuss how to get these jobs. I’ve been a Dubai resident for a really long time now and have helped a lot of people move to Dubai. I’ll be talking about the whole process in this blog—nothing will be nonsense. So without further ado, let’s directly jump into it.
- 🏢 Real Estate Market in Dubai
People say 3.5 million people live in Dubai and 4 million people sell property there. So the first biggest market you can cover is the real estate market. There are a lot of job opportunities here. If you are a good salesperson and have good communication skills, you can check for job opportunities with any developer or broker. You can work as a person who sells properties.
In this, you can start with a basic salary of 3,000 dirhams, which can go up to 10,000 dirhams. But if you work with a developer, you can also get 0.8% commission. So if you sell a property worth 1 crore, you’ll get 88,000 dirhams extra just as commission. And at the same time, if you work with a small broker, commissions can be super crazy.
- 💻 Tech and IT Sector Opportunities
Next segment where there are actually a lot of jobs in Dubai is the tech and IT sector. Dubai plans to become the center of all tech and innovation in the world. They want to bring all the best talent here. But if you want to crack this field, the most important thing you need to do is build projects and display those projects. Your potential recruiters in Dubai should be able to see what kind of projects you’ve worked on and what you’ve done.
As a fresher, cracking into the tech field directly from India is tough. But if you have even 1 or 2 years of experience, which is easy to get in India, then coming to Dubai for tech is really an amazing option. There are three roles you can choose:
- Junior Software Developer – Salary: 5,000–8,000 dirhams
- Data Analyst – Salary: 6,000–9,000 dirhams
- Junior Cyber Security Analyst – Salary: 7,000–10,000 dirhams
- Junior DevOps Engineer – Salary: 6,000–9,000 dirhams
- 🏦 Decentralized Finance: Crypto & More
Third is finance – especially decentralized finance like cryptocurrency. All the HQs for such things are in Dubai. Dubai scouts talent from all over the world and brings them here. If you want to get a job in this field, the first thing you need to understand is that you’ll have to come to Dubai.
My recommendation:
- First, try LinkedIn. A lot of people, including many of my friends, found opportunities through it.
- Second, many small companies in Dubai hire people on a tourist visa for 3 months and later convert it into a permanent visa.
✅ Benefits of Starting with a Tourist Visa
Benefits of this:
- For companies: they don’t have to sponsor a visa or spend money immediately.
- For you: you get a chance to see if the company is right for you and vice versa.
So try looking for jobs directly in Dubai. Attend conferences, meetups, and events. Talk to people. One of my friends even found a job from a gym visit within three days of arriving! But you must be very social and actively talk to people.
If you can’t be that social, at least attend events and ask for job opportunities. Right now, the unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is amazing for young professionals who want to move.
- 🩺 Healthcare Sector in Dubai
The fourth sector is healthcare. There are a lot of opportunities in Dubai. I can make a dedicated video on that, but since not a lot of medical students watch my content, I suggest watching other videos. But it is still a very good field if you're qualified.
- 🍽️ Hospitality Industry: A Reality Check
The fifth is the hospitality sector – it’s huge in Dubai. There are lots of job opportunities. But I don’t recommend it much.
- The average salary here is 2,000–3,000 dirhams
- Your bare minimum expenses in Dubai will be around that same amount, so you won’t save anything.
- Also, people get heavily exploited in hospitality. So unless you have no other option, I don’t recommend hospitality.
Conclusion :
Regardless of whether you're a skilled salesperson, a tech enthusiast, a finance expert, or someone with a background in healthcare, Dubai continues to be a land of opportunity. Dubai is actively seeking international talent due to its rapidly expanding industries and low unemployment rate. However, it's critical to take a calculated approach. Build your skills, create strong project portfolios, and use platforms like LinkedIn to network and apply smartly.
Attending meetups, job fairs, and even casual social spaces, whether you are already in Dubai or plan to visit, can lead to unexpected opportunities. Just remember, while fields like real estate, tech, and finance offer lucrative opportunities, sectors like hospitality may not be financially sustainable for everyone due to high living costs and low pay.
Start preparing right away if you really want to move. Also, don't forget to watch the entire, in-depth video I mentioned earlier. It has helped thousands of people, and it might be the breakthrough you need as well. Good luck with your Dubai job journey! 🌍💼✨
